Something like a 66 caddy drop top etc. I want to put 6 people in it, drop the top and roll around enjoying the view.

Perhaps this will work:

OH SHIT That would fix my need for a big vert and the odd desire to take a roadmaster wagon and make it an impala ss clone.

Wonder how stiff I can make that bitch with some creativity.

Good suggestion sir.

you might need to brace it up, depending what youre looking at. most of the older cars have full frames..... newer stuff not so much.

wish i could claim originatorship, but i had seen one as a kid. it was a box body malibu wagon, complete with wire daytons, and a crappy, but loud sound system. i was AMAZED at how RIGHT it looked..... kinda burnt itself into my memory.

I always thought a 67 Bonneville would be fantastic for that. And probably cheaper than the Caddy. It also looks like a big GTO, which doesn’t hurt.
